Data Scientist
Based in or around Utrecht| 32 to 40 hours | € 2.800 – € 5.000
We’re looking for a Data Scientist with a strong focus on machine learning to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, can effectively communicate technical insights, and understands the importance of aligning solutions with business needs. With a variety of projects and clients, adaptability, collaboration, and a solution-oriented mindset are essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models, predictive analytics, and pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver impactful results.
- Ensure data systems meet quality, governance, and compliance standards.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Share knowledge with the team to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Python for machine learning and data processing.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, and BigQuery for data storage and analysis.
- Experience with tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform.
- Proficiency with at least 1-2 frameworks or tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, PySpark, or Apache Spark.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and business analytics.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.
- At least 1 year of experience in a role involving machine learning or data science.
