What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

I am really proud that my final project of my studies with Dataform for Code Cube is used by clients. This project was about setting up a dataform workflow that cleans raw data and transforms it to operational tables.

What’s your biggest work pet peeve?

Last minute decisions that things need to be done different than discussed and planned. It is often the case in this scenario that a lot of work has already been done and a big part of your work is all of a sudden irrelevant.

Fortunately, I’ve never really had that experience because I always try to focus on tasks I enjoy from the start — and even when something isn’t initially my responsibility, I make an effort to find excitement and maintain a positive perspective in the work.

I rely on time-blocking to structure my day, and I prefer to do important tasks in the morning, even if it means being flexible with early hours in the day.

I am Data Engineer who works on setting up ETL pipelines to provide insights on web tracking data utilizing primarily BigQuery and other GCP services. I mainly use Python and SQL in my everyday coding and Terraform to set up all the resources that I need. I have a broad knowledge on computer science in general, so if you have a question related to it, I may have an idea about it!


What energizes you at work?

I enjoy coding a lot! So a day full of coding is a day that I will be fully energized to tackle any challenge that may come up.
